I have been drawing since I was about 5 years old. My Dad was a popular artist when he was in school. He wanted to teach me how to create, or maybe just keep me busy while he worked.

I remember he would lay me on the floor next to his easel, and while he painted, he would have me trace cartoon characters from comics and coloring books. More on my progression to come soon!

In high School I began painting in watercolors and Mixed-Media. It was not until college that I went full-bore into painting using Acrylics and Oils. More on this soon!

I was born into a long line of self-made chefs and learned many passed-down family Texas-Mexican recipes. I also explored other cultural cuisines, and have created palatable fusions along the way!!
